Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts on a 36/48 alternating schedule
• 12 weekend shifts (Saturday or Sunday) required per contract
• Block scheduling type
• Patient ratio of 4:1 during day shifts
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Travel experience required
• Level II Trauma Center experience required
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC
• Care for patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Perform triage, phlebotomy, IV placement and maintenance, and 12-lead EKG/ECG interpretation
• Manage arterial lines, central lines, chest tubes, and ventilated patients
• Administer and monitor procedural sedation, IV vasopressors, and continuous IV medications
• Interpret arterial blood gases and cardiac dysrhythmias
• Treat conditions including trauma, traumatic brain injury, CVA, seizures, drug overdose, burns, and gunshot wounds
• Manage psychiatric holds, suicidal patients, and patients exhibiting violent behavior
• Utilize interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and rapid response teams
