PCU RN Job in Festus, MO

Mercy Hospital Jefferson is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This is a night shift position working 3x12-hour shifts, offering 36 guaranteed hours per week with rotating weekends every other week.

In this role, you will provide direct patient care on the Cardiac Stepdown Unit, treating neuro medical surgical patients. Your responsibilities include:

• Applying the nursing process to deliver comprehensive patient care and maintain professional accountability
• Evaluating the effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers
• Coordinating patient care with other departments
• Maintaining patient rights and confidentiality of patient information
• Floating as needed to support unit operations

Qualifications:

• Current RN license valid in Missouri (or ability to meet Missouri licensure criteria)
• Minimum 1+ years of stepdown experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
