PCU - Progressive Care Unit

Opportunity:

RN - Stepdown

Job Details:

• Night shift position working 3x12-hour shifts
• 36 hours guaranteed per week
• 13-week assignment
• Rotating weekends every other week
• Float requirements as needed
• Work on the Cardiac Stepdown Unit treating Neuro Medical Surgical patients
• Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care and maintain professional accountability
• Evaluate overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers
• Coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information
• 1+ years of stepdown experience required
• Current RN License required (must meet criteria for Missouri licensure or be currently licensed in Missouri)
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• EMR system: EPIC
• Scrub color: Black scrubs required
• Ideal candidate is a team player who is versatile, flexible, and possesses excellent communication skills
