PCU Progressive Care Unit RN Job in Saint Louis, MO

Mercy Hospital St Louis is seeking an RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position on the night shift. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning October 12, 2026.

Position Details

• Shift: 4x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekly guaranteed hours: 48
• Weekly pay: $2,411
• No call requirements
• Weekend hours required as needed; standard expectation is every other full weekend (Saturday and Sunday)
• Float as needed upon request

Clinical Environment

• Patient ratio: typically 4–6:1
• Patient population: 50% Medical / 50% Telemetry, adults only
• Required experience: tracheostomies, ventilators, and IV drips
• Minimum 1+ years of critical care experience
• EMR system: EPIC
• Scrub color: Black

Required Credentials & Certifications

• Current RN license
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• EKG certification

You will use standard nursing equipment typical to a Telemetry unit and be part of a collaborative team focused on positive patient outcomes and clear communication. ADEX Healthcare Staffing handles all travel arrangements and credentialing support for this assignment.
