PCU RN Job in Kansas City, MO

Join Research Medical Center MO as a Registered Nurse on our 16-bed Stroke & Brain progressive care unit. This is a 91-day travel position offering competitive compensation and the chance to develop expertise in acute neurological and cardiac care.

Position Details

• Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Shift: 4x12, nights (7 PM–7 AM)
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week with 3–4 weekend shifts required
• Guaranteed hours: 48 per week preferred
• Weekly pay: $2,978.40
• Start date: December 14, 2026
• Duration: 91 days

Clinical Requirements

• Patient ratio: 4:1
• Telemetry monitoring and stroke patient care experience required
• Cardiac drips and neurology experience required
• Basic dysrhythmia interpretation skills required
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) experience required

Required Certifications

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• NIHSS
