PCU - Progressive Care Unit

Opportunity:

RN - IMC

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• 36 or 48 hours per week available
• Block scheduling is not promised or guaranteed
• Floating to other units required
• Scrub color: Navy Blue
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in IMCU/PCU required
• Travel experience required
• EMR experience required: EPIC
• Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Active New York RN license required with NURSYS verification
• Common diagnoses include neurological, cardiac, trauma, respiratory conditions, COPD, DKA, sepsis, MI, cardiovascular stepdown, and post-operative care
• Experience with specialty equipment required including temporary pacer, chest tubes, arterial lines, BiPAP, and Neptune Vapo
• Experience with chronic ventilators required with respiratory therapy available to assist
• Patient population consists of adults 18 years and older
• Unit consists of 64 beds including 15 designated neuro beds
