PCU RN Job in Chandler, AZ

You'll work as a registered nurse in the Progressive Care Unit at Banner Ocotillo Medical Center in Chandler, Arizona. This is a 3x12 night shift position with an 89-week duration, starting December 7, 2026. Weekly pay is $2,541.

Your Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care for PCU patients according to organizational policies and professional standards
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural needs, and discharge planning
• Review patient histories, diagnostics, and laboratory data; report abnormal findings to physicians and appropriate caregivers
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary team members
• Delegate and supervise licensed nurses and other healthcare personnel
• Evaluate patient and family responses to care and teaching; revise care plans as needed
• Document all assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation in patient records accurately and timely
• Participate in unit or facility shared leadership initiatives and support staff education, orientation, and mentoring
• Be willing to float to like units as needed

Requirements

• Current, valid RN license in Arizona
• Minimum one year acute care hospital experience required, with specialty area experience within the past 12 months
• BLS certification required
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, and stretch frequently
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Standard precautions proficiency due to potential exposure to blood and bodily fluids
