NICU RN Job in Denver, CO

Opportunity:

RN - NICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM
• Located on the 5th floor of the main building
• 17-bed NICU unit with patient ratios of 1:1 to 3:1
• Work with equipment including Phillips monitors, Giraffe isolettes, Hamilton ventilators, RAM cannula, Baxter IV pumps, and Medfusion syringe pumps
• EMR systems used: Meditech and CPN
• Minimum of 1 year of current acute care Level III NICU hospital experience required
• Required certifications: BLS and NRP
• Preferred experience includes delivery experience, NICU/PICU experience, and PALS certification
• Perform typical procedures including UAC and UVC insertion and intubation
• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to work autonomously required
• Must be a strong patient advocate and contribute to creating the daily plan of care
• Work collaboratively with Neonatologists, Nurse Practitioners, and a multidisciplinary team
