NICU RN Job in Denver, CO

Opportunity:

RN - NICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Level IV NICU unit with 42 beds and patient ratios of 2:1 and 1:1
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care Level IV NICU experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, NRP, and PALS
• PICU experience for floating preferred
• Post-surgical care experience preferred
• Work with equipment including incubators, radiant warmers, continuous cardiorespiratory monitoring, High Frequency Oscillating Ventilation, Jet Ventilation, Servo ventilation, tracheostomy, high-flow nasal cannula, NIPPV, central lines, PIVs, Foley catheters, titrated medications, continuous medications, intermittent IV/PO medications, chest tubes, and Arctic Sun
• EMR systems used: Neonatal Notes Manager and Meditech
• Perform procedures including intubation, central line placement, PIV insertion, therapeutic hypothermia, lab draws, sepsis screening, gastric tube placement, circumcisions, and ROP exams
• Work alongside a seasoned NICU team with daily learning during rounds and high exposure to advanced procedures and complex care pathways
