Join Banner Del Webb Medical Center in Sun City West, Arizona as a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) RN. This 89-day travel assignment offers 3x12 night shifts at $2,582.10 per week, starting December 7, 2026.

About the Role

You will provide comprehensive nursing care to PCU patients, performing detailed assessments that address physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural needs. Your responsibilities include reviewing patient histories, diagnostics, and laboratory data; reporting abnormal findings to physicians; and developing individualized plans of care aligned with each patient's medical needs.

You will coordinate and delegate healthcare team activities to implement care plans, evaluate patient and family responses, and revise approaches as needed. Accurate and timely documentation in patient records is essential. You may be asked to float between two campuses to support operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care per organizational policies and professional standards
• Coordinate discharge planning and address comprehensive patient needs
• Supervise and mentor healthcare team members
• Participate in unit-based shared leadership and staff education
• Support improvement of nursing quality indicators and patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Current, valid RN license in Arizona
• Minimum one year acute care hospital experience with specialty area experience within the past 12 months
• BLS certification
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds; ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, and stretch frequently
• Willingness to work varied schedules and float between campuses

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing
• Professional certification in progressive care nursing

Standard precautions required due to potential exposure to blood and bodily fluids. This assignment is based at Banner Del Webb Medical Center, 14502 W Meeker Boulevard.
