Telemetry RN Job in Independence, MO

Join Centerpoint Medical Center MO as a Telemetry RN on a 36-bed unit in the main hospital. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting October 19, 2026, working three 12-hour day shifts per week at $2,227 weekly pay.

Role Overview

You will provide direct patient care with ratios of 1:3 in the AM and 1:4 in the PM, or 1:4 AM and 1:5 PM when patient care techs are available. The unit operates as total RN-based care with unit secretaries on-site from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. You will float to Med-Surg units as needed per the facility's floating policy.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Manage vasoactive drips requiring advanced assessment and critical thinking skills
• Perform central line and PICC line placements
• Work with BiPAP, Heated High-Flow Nasal Cannulas, Alaris IV pumps, and Kangaroo Feeding Pumps
• Document using Meditech system
• Implement patient experience requirements including bedside shift report, hourly rounding, and daily leadership rounds

Requirements

• Current RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications required

Dress Code

Charcoal grey scrub tops with charcoal grey or black scrub bottoms. Black or charcoal grey jackets required, with the option to order unit-specific jackets.
