PCU RN Job in Casa Grande, AZ

Banner Casa Grande Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This is a 3x12 night shift position with a duration of 89 weeks, starting January 4, 2027. You will earn $2,514 weekly.

About the Role

You will assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care for patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing practice standards. You will review patient history and physical with patients and families, ensuring completion within appropriate timeframes. You will review diagnostics and laboratory data, reporting abnormal results to physicians and appropriate caregivers.

You will formulate individualized plans of care that include discharge planning, utilizing assessment data and input from patients, families, and the health care team. You will implement the plan of care through direct patient care, coordination, delegation, and supervision of health care team activities. You will evaluate patient and family responses to care and teaching, revising the plan as needed.

Documentation of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation must be accurate and timely in the patient record. You will participate in unit or facility shared leadership and support education and orientation of facility personnel.

Requirements

• Current, valid RN license in Arizona
• Minimum of one year experience in an acute care hospital setting
• Acute care experience within the past 12 months
• ACLS and BLS certification required
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred

Schedule and Expectations

This position requires a varied weekend and holiday schedule with no guaranteed hours. You must be able to work across PCU, OBS, Med-Surg, and Telemetry units as needed.
