Telemetry RN Job in Asheville, NC

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Telemetry unit at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning October 5, 2026, scheduled for three 12-hour day shifts per week, running 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM.

Your Role

You will provide specialized cardiac monitoring and direct patient care to individuals requiring continuous telemetry surveillance. You will assess patients, administer medications, perform clinical interventions, and document care in accordance with hospital protocols. Your work will support a high-acuity patient population with complex cardiac and monitoring needs.

Your Responsibilities

• Monitor patients on telemetry systems and respond promptly to rhythm changes or alarms
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate comprehensive patient treatment plans
• Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation
• Uphold Mission Hospital's nursing standards aligned with Magnet Designation requirements
• Provide compassionate patient and family education regarding cardiac conditions and monitoring

Requirements

You must hold a current RN license and have experience in telemetry or cardiac monitoring. You are expected to meet the clinical excellence and professional standards maintained by Mission Hospital.

Compensation and Details

You will receive $2,080 per week. Mission Hospital is a full-service acute-care facility. This assignment is backfill support for the unit.
