Telemetry RN Job in Greensboro, NC

Cone Health - The Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Telemetry unit in Greensboro, NC. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning September 28, 2026.

Shift & Scheduling

• 3x12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every third weekend required; holidays as needed
• Float required between all campuses as needed

Compensation

• $2,072 per week

Position Overview

You will work in an inpatient rehabilitation department providing specialized care to adults and geriatric patients with diagnoses including CVA, TBI, ABI, spinal cord injury, and neurological conditions. Patient ratios are 1:6, with one unit rotating basis where you may have 7 patients of equivalent acuity. You will support post-stroke, aneurysm, post-operative surgical, brain injury, and spinal cord injury patients.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 1 year nursing experience; no first-time travelers
• Travel experience required
• Current BLS certification
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and EKG proficiency; must pass compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)

Required Clinical Skills

• Interpretation of laboratory results, medication reconciliation, patient health questionnaire history, allergies, and vital signs
• Dressing changes and aseptic/sterile procedure tray setup
• Capillary blood draws, specimen labeling, phlebotomy, and urine collection
• Telephone triage and pharmacy call handling

Preferred Qualifications

• Acute Care Rehab experience
• Trauma Level II facility experience
