Telemetry RN Job in Greensboro, NC

Cone Health - Wesley Long Community Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 26-week Telemetry contract. You will work 3x12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with every other weekend and holiday rotation required. Primary patient population includes medical and surgical adults and geriatrics with a 1:6 patient ratio.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care on a telemetry-capable unit with dysrhythmia monitoring and interpretation
• Administer blood products, manage peripheral lines and IVs, and maintain PICC lines
• Administer medications including Heparin, Insulin, and PCA
• Manage oxygen delivery via nasal cannula, BiPAP, and CPAP
• Perform wound care, manage surgical drains and wound vacs, and provide colostomy and ileostomy care
• Manage feeding tubes, perform oral suctioning, and maintain isolation precautions
• Work Charge RN shifts as needed—Charge RN experience required
• Float across all facilities as required
• Utilize Rapid Response and Code teams as needed

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years nursing experience
• Travel healthcare experience required
• Current BLS and NIHSS certifications
• EPIC EMR experience
• Pass EKG exam during onboarding (2 attempts allowed)
• Previous Charge RN experience

Compensation: $2,072 weekly. Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams.
