Telemetry RN Job in Greensboro, NC

Cone Health - The Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Telemetry unit in Greensboro, NC. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning September 28, 2026.

Schedule & Compensation

• 3 twelve-hour night shifts per week, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required; holidays as needed
• Weekly pay: $2,072

Role Overview

You will care for adult and geriatric patients on a medical-surgical telemetry unit with a 6:1 patient ratio. Patient populations include observation, respiratory conditions, general medical and surgical diagnoses, palliative and end-of-life care, psychiatric observation, diabetes management, and post-surgical patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Float required if census is down; travelers may be floated across all Cone Health facilities as needed
• Telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
• BiPAP and CPAP management
• Blood product administration
• PICC line and peripheral line management
• Wound care and wound vac operation
• Feeding tube care
• Pre- and post-hemodialysis management
• Rapid response and code team participation

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years nursing experience; first-time travelers welcome
• Current BLS certification; ACLS and NIHSS certifications required
• EPIC charting system experience
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam during onboarding (2 attempts allowed)
• Previous Charge RN experience preferred
