Med Surg RN Job in Asheville, NC

You will work as an RN on the inpatient rehabilitation unit at CarePartners Rehabilitation Hospital in Asheville, NC. This is a 91-day travel position starting October 2, 2026.

Schedule and Pay

• Three 12-hour shifts per week, primarily weekends
• 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• $2,077 weekly

The Role

You will provide direct patient care on a 65-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit. Your patient ratio will be 5–6 patients per shift. You will work with patients recovering from stroke, traumatic brain injury, amputation, and other rehabilitation needs. No floating is required—all units are connected and interchangeable.

Daily Responsibilities

• Administer medications and manage IV pumps
• Operate specialty beds, feeding pumps, lifts, and transfer equipment
• Assist patients with life vests and mobility aids
• Document care in the Meditech system
• Support patients engaging in physical, occupational, and speech therapies

Support and Resources

• CNA support available on all shifts
• 11 hours of unit secretary support provided weekly

Requirements

• Current RN license
• BLS certification required
• Medical surgical and rehabilitation experience preferred

Facility Information

Navy scrubs with white tops are required as part of the dress code. You will work in a structured rehabilitation environment with consistent team support and modern equipment.
