Opportunity:

Job Details:

• Circulating experience required
• Robotic experience required, specifically Da Vinci Xi Surgical System
• 5x8 hour shifts with call rotation
• Rotating call schedule between 2 RNs (Monday, Tuesday, Friday through Sunday one week; Wednesday and Thursday the following week)
• Call is limited to general surgery and emergency C-sections
• Weekend coverage required
• Block scheduling type
• Patient ratio of 1:1 for days and nights
• 4 operating rooms with a daily census of 4
• Treats patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and pediatrics
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Prior travel experience required
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
• Required skills include: appendectomy, C-sections, cholecystectomy, circumcision, colon resection, Da Vinci Xi Surgical System, dilation & curettage, general OR, hernia repair, laparoscopic assisted gynecological procedures, laser safety, scrub general surgery, urinary bladder catheterization, and wound management
• Additional skills include: code response, colonoscopy, cystoscopy, EGD, electrosurgical units, fiber optic light sources/cords, fire safety, infection control, laparoscopic assisted cases and procedures, latex allergy awareness, malignant hyperthermia, radiation safety, specimen handling/labeling, and universal protocol (time out) procedure
