ED - Emergency Room

Opportunity:

RN - ED ER

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• 4x12 shift schedule (block scheduling is never promised or guaranteed)
• Floating to other units required
• Scrub color: Navy Blue
• Charge nurse capability highly preferred
• 2+ years of experience in the Emergency Department required
• Some pediatric experience required
• Travel experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Required certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Active New York RN license required with NURSYS verification
• Skills checklist matching specialty required
• Work with specialty equipment including Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun
• Treat patients across all age groups including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatric populations
• Common patient diagnoses include stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
• Work in a 64-bed unit including 2 triage, 40 acute, 6 super track, 2 trauma, 10 CDU, and 6 psych beds
