Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• 3x12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required with holidays as needed
• Float required across all facilities when census is down
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers welcome
• Patient ratio of 6:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Previous Charge RN experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS; ACLS preferred
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam during onboarding (2 attempts allowed)
• Care for adults and geriatric patient populations
• Patient diagnoses include observation patients, respiratory conditions, general medical/surgical diagnoses, palliative/end of life/hospice patients, psychiatric observation, diabetes, and surgical patients/surgical observation
• Required skills include telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, peripheral and PICC line management, wound care/wound vac, feeding tube care, pre/post hemodialysis management, and use of rapid response/code teams
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
