Respiratory Therapist Job in Asheville, NC

Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 91-day travel assignment. You will work the night shift, 3x12 hours (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM), with a weekly pay of $1,532.

Role Overview

As a floating respiratory therapist, you will provide care across all critical care units and floors. Night shift staffing includes 12–16 RRTs for adult service lines and 3–4 RRTs for NICU/Pediatric service lines. You will manage patient ratios ranging from 10 to 25 patients and work a variable weekend schedule with at least 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule.

Equipment and Systems

You will work with a range of equipment, including:

• GE R860 Adult ventilators
• Draeger Infant/Pediatric ventilators
• Newport HT70 transport ventilator
• V60 Non-invasive device
• Vapotherm and Comfort Flow high flow oxygen devices

Documentation occurs within the Cerner EMR system.

Requirements

You must hold current certifications in RRT, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and a North Carolina Respiratory License. Only RRTs will be reviewed; CRTs are not eligible for this position. NRP certification is preferred. You will be required to wear Medium Gray/Pewter scrubs.
