Respiratory Therapist Job in Asheville, NC

You'll work as a Respiratory Therapist on the night shift at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC. This is a 91-day travel assignment running 3x12 nights (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM), paying $1,955 weekly. Your start date is October 19, 2026.

Your Role

You'll float across all critical care units and floors as part of the night staffing team. Night shift typically includes 12–16 RRTs covering adult service lines and 3–4 RRTs for NICU and Pediatric service lines. You'll manage patient ratios of 10 to 25 patients and work with a range of specialized equipment.

• GE R860 Adult ventilators
• Draeger Infant and Pediatric ventilators
• Newport HT70 transport ventilator
• V60 Non-invasive device
• Vapotherm and Comfort Flow high flow oxygen devices
• Cerner EMR for documentation

Schedule & Requirements

You'll work a variable weekend schedule with at least 4 weekend shifts per 6-week cycle. Medium Gray or Pewter scrubs are required.

Credentials & Certifications

Only Registered Respiratory Therapists (RRT) are considered for this role. You must hold a current North Carolina Respiratory License, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. NRP is preferred but not required.
