PCU RN Job in Sun City, AZ

Banner Boswell Medical Center is seeking an RN for our Progressive Care Unit. This is a travel position based in Sun City, AZ, with your primary assignment at our Boswell campus. You may be asked to float between Boswell and Del Webb campuses as clinical needs require.

Role Overview

You will provide comprehensive nursing care in our progressive care unit setting. Your responsibilities include:

• Conduct complete patient assessments addressing physical, psychological, social, spiritual, and discharge planning needs
• Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
• Implement nursing interventions and document all patient responses accurately and in a timely manner
• Delegate tasks appropriately and supervise healthcare team activities as assigned
• Participate in patient and family education
• Maintain clinical performance competencies through annual validations
• Supervise staff and workflow as needed

Schedule & Duration

This assignment runs for 89 days, beginning November 30, 2026. You will work three 12-hour night shifts per week.

Compensation

Weekly pay is $2,559.

Requirements

• Current valid RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum one year of acute care hospital experience
• Acute care experience within the past 12 months
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred
