Med Surg RN Job in Stevens Point, WI

St. Michael's—Stevens Point is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment on the Medical-Surgical unit. You will work the night shift and care for patients across medical, surgical, orthopedic, urology, and ENT specialties.

Shift and Schedule

• 3x12-hour night shifts
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Every other weekend required with holiday rotation
• Call back minimum is 2 hours; subject to low census placement on call
• Up to 36 hours of low census unbillable hours per contract

Unit Details

• 32-bed Medical-Surgical unit
• Night patient ratio of 1:6–7
• Day/PM patient ratio of 1:4–5
• Float requirements to similar units including Riverview, Plover, and Divine Savior; Med/Surg patients only if floated to second floor unit

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of Medical-Surgical and orthopedic experience
• 1 completed travel assignment required
• Epic charting experience required
• WI or compact RN license
• AHA or ARC BLS certification
• ADN or BSN degree
• Professional-colored scrubs acceptable
