Med Surg RN Job in Elkader, IA

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Medical Surgical unit at MercyOne Elkader Medical Center. This is a 90-day travel assignment beginning October 4, 2026.

Schedule and Compensation

• Shift: Three 12-hour night shifts per week
• Weekly pay: $2,187
• Weekend requirement: 2 out of every 6 shifts
• Holiday requirement: Every other holiday (EOH)

Role Responsibilities

You will provide direct patient care in a medical surgical nursing setting, managing patient assessments, treatments, and coordinations with the healthcare team. Your responsibilities will include monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting patients and families throughout their hospital stay.

What You Bring

• Current RN license
• Medical surgical nursing experience
• Ability to work night shifts and weekend rotations
• Strong communication and clinical skills
