Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Orthopedic

Job Details:

• Night shift position with weekend hours Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Every other weekend or 2 weekend shifts per schedule required
• Holiday rotation participation required
• Unit is a 22-bed Orthopedic/Telemetry unit
• Patient ratios of 1:5-6 with 3 CNAs per shift
• Must have strong orthopedic experience including Total Joint Replacement (not just fractures)
• Common diagnoses include orthopedic joints, replacements, and fractures
• Charge Nurse available 24/7
• RNs are not required to read telemetry strips
• RNs are not required to titrate drips
• Respiratory therapy and equipment such as CPAP, BiPAP, and High Flow available as needed
• Possibility of floating to units 7E, 7W, 10W, and 10E
• Cancellation policy allows 2 shifts per 13-week contract
• Charting system: EPIC
• BSN not required
• 1-2 shifts of unit-specific orientation provided
• Scrub color requirement: Royal Blue
• Required certification: BLS
