Telemetry RN Job in Saint Louis, MO

Missouri Baptist Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Telemetry float pool position. You will work 3x12 night shifts on a 126-day contract beginning September 21, 2026, earning $2,313.10 weekly.

Role Overview

You will float across medical-surgical and telemetry units, including renal, oncology, neuro, surgical, and cardiology departments. Night shift patient ratios are typically 1:6. You must call into a recorded line up to 1 hour before each shift to receive your unit assignment. Every other weekend is required, or a minimum of 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule. Holiday rotation is mandatory. No on-call is required.

Scheduling & Benefits

You will work guaranteed hours of 3 shifts per 13-week contract. Cancelled shifts match your assigned shift length. A maximum of 7 days of paid time off is available per 13-week contract. Block scheduling is not available. Free parking is provided.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• IV start certification and Telemetry certification required
• NIHSS certification is preferred

Clinical Skills & Responsibilities

You will manage patients ranging from adults to geriatrics with daily census between 28 and 50 depending on the unit. Your responsibilities include central line care and management, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, peripheral line care, telemetry and remote telemetry monitoring, wound care and wound vac management, phlebotomy, IV insertion and maintenance, and Rapid Response/Code team participation. You will also operate lift devices, ceiling lifts, and bladder scanners (training provided).

Work Environment

The facility uses EPIC for charting. Required scrub color is navy blue. You will have access to lift devices and ceiling lifts to support patient safety and your physical well-being.
