ED RN Job in Cypress, TX

You will work as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room at HCA Houston N Cypress, a 13-week travel assignment beginning September 14, 2026. This is a night shift position working 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., three days per week.

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as a bedside RN in a fast-paced emergency department
• Manage patient ratios of 4:1 or 5:1
• Perform emergency procedures including tPA administration, STEMI care, CPR, laceration repair, and orthopedic care
• Work collaboratively with a night shift team consisting of one Charge RN, one Triage RN, four Bedside RNs, one HUC, and one Tech
• Utilize Philips equipment and Meditech EMR system
• No floating required; you will remain in the ED

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of emergency department experience
• Active RN license
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH Stroke Scale, and TNCC
• Rotating weekend schedule required; no on-call responsibilities

Compensation

You will receive $1,661 per week. The assignment runs for 91 days (13 weeks).
