ED RN Job in Round Rock, TX

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a registered nurse for a 13-week contract assignment in the Emergency Department at Round Rock Medical Center. You will work day shift, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, on a rotating three-day-per-week schedule with no on-call requirements.

Role Overview

You will deliver direct patient care in a 48-bed emergency department with private rooms, hallway stretchers, fast track, and behavioral health areas. Patient ratios are 1:4 for standard ED, 1:5 for behavioral health, and 1:3 for cardiac and trauma patients. Your responsibilities include splinting, EKG placement, central monitoring, trauma assists, central line management, airway support, behavioral health de-escalation, morgan lens application, rapid infuser operation, and resuscitation support.

Equipment and Systems

You will operate Alaris infusion pumps, Belmont and Level 1 Rapid infusers, and Stryker stretchers. The facility uses MEDITECH as its electronic medical record system; prior MEDITECH experience is preferred.

Required Qualifications

• Current RN licensure
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• ENPC (Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course)
• TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course)
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)

Preferred Qualifications

• Trauma nursing experience
• Holding and inpatient unit experience
• MEDITECH EMR familiarity

Dress Code

Navy blue scrubs required for RNs.

13-week contract | 91 days | Start date: September 14, 2026 | Weekly pay: $1,674 | Rotating weekend schedule required | No on-call duties.
