Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Every other weekend schedule required
• Float required
• Patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:7 for Med Surg
• Previous charge experience required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Must be proficient in Epic charting system
• New York state license required in hand - no exceptions
• Must reside more than 75 miles from facility
• Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS
• Scrub color: Navy on bottom, navy or white on top
• Required skills include: telemetry monitoring, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, use of Rapid Response/Code teams, pacemaker management (temporary and permanent), feeding tube care and management, blood product administration, central line care and management, phlebotomy, peripheral line care and management, PICC line management, starting IVs, heparin protocols, ortho trauma, total joint replacements, surgical drains, high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), nasal cannula, oxygen face masks, portable oxygen tank, tracheostomy management, isolation precautions, and wound care/wound vac
