RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Night shift position on a Neuro Med Surg unit
• Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts, guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Patient ratio: 1:6
• Weekend requirement: 2 shifts every other weekend; night shift weekends can be Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday depending on existing rotation
• No on-call required
• May float to other units within service line; will not be pulled to ICU, SDU, or ED
• 2+ years of nursing experience preferred; first-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS, Fire Safety
• Required skills: CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Isolation Precautions/PPE, PCA, PICC line management, starting and maintaining IVs, telemetry on-unit monitoring, telemetry remote monitoring, and total joint replacement
• Patient population: Adults
• Patient diagnoses include: Orthopedic, Neurology, Med/Surg, and Stroke
• Charting system: EPIC
• Scrub color: Navy
• No parking cost
