Telemetry RN Job in Greensboro, NC

Cone Health - The Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for Telemetry in Greensboro, NC. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning September 28, 2026.

Schedule & Compensation

• 3 × 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every 3rd weekend required; holidays as needed
• Weekly pay: $2,072

Role Overview

You will work in an inpatient rehab department, caring for adults and geriatric patients with acute rehabilitation needs. Patient assignments include a 1:6 ratio, with occasional rotating basis shifts where you may carry 7 patients of equivalent acuity. You will float between all campuses as needed and provide specialized care for patients recovering from stroke, aneurysm, post-operative surgery, brain injury, and spinal cord injury.

Required Experience & Credentials

• Minimum 1 year nursing experience; no first-time travelers
• Travel experience required
• Acute Care Rehab experience preferred
• BLS certification required
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)

Essential Skills

• Dysrhythmia interpretation and EKG testing
• Interpretation of laboratory results
• Medication reconciliation
• Vital signs assessment
• Dressing changes and aseptic/sterile procedure tray setup
• Capillary blood draw and phlebotomy
• Specimen collection and labeling (throat and urine)
• Patient health questionnaire, history, and allergy documentation
• Telephone triage and pharmacy communication

You will have access to interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretaries.
