ICU - Intensive Care Unit

Opportunity:

RN - ICU Adult

Job Details:

• Assess patient conditions and plan and implement individualized patient care plans
• Treat wounds and provide advanced life support
• Assist physicians in performing procedures
• Observe and record patient vital signs
• Ensure ventilators, monitors, and other medical equipment function properly, including adjusting ventilators and IABP
• Administer intravenous fluids and medications
• Perform suctioning procedures
• Collaborate with fellow members of the critical care team
• Respond to life-saving situations using nursing standards and protocols for treatment
• Act as patient advocate and provide education and support to patient families
• Provide care for pre- and post-operative patients as needed
• May occasionally care for pediatric and adolescent patients
• May be required to float between two campuses depending on facility census
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU RN experience in a hospital setting required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS/ENPC (must be through the American Heart Association)
• TNCC certification preferred but not required
• Wyoming RN license or multi-state RN license required
