CVICU RN Job in Mesa, AZ

You will provide direct patient care in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit at Banner Heart Hospital, located at 6750 E Baywood Ave in Mesa, AZ. This is a full-time travel position running 89 days, starting September 28, 2026.

Role Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care according to organizational policies and professional nursing practice standards
• Review patient history, diagnostics, and laboratory data; report abnormal results to physicians and appropriate caregivers
• Formulate and implement individualized plans of care based on patient-specific needs and medical requirements
• Coordinate, delegate, and supervise healthcare team activities to carry out patient care plans
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching; revise care plans as needed
• Provide timely and accurate documentation of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in the patient record
• Participate in unit or facility shared leadership and contribute to improvement of national nursing quality indicators
• Precept and mentor staff when appropriate

Schedule

You will work three 12-hour day shifts per week at $2,434 weekly pay. The position includes potential float between ICU and PCU units and may include on-call responsibilities.

Requirements

• Current, valid RN license in Arizona
• Minimum one year experience in an acute care hospital setting
• Experience in specialty area within the past 12 months
• BLS certification required
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred
