NICU RN Job in Plano, TX

Join Medical City Plano as a registered nurse in our 41-bed NICU. You'll work three 12-hour night shifts per week from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with four weekend shifts required per four-week schedule. No on-call responsibilities.

This role is ideal if you have Level II–III NICU experience; Level III–IV experience is preferred. You'll provide direct patient care with ratios ranging from 1:1 to 1:4, depending on acuity. Your responsibilities include performing and assisting with procedures (excluding head and heart surgeries), managing respiratory support, and caring for micropreemies.

You will operate and monitor specialized equipment including:

• High-frequency oscillatory ventilation (HFOV)
• Central lines
• Conventional ventilators
• CPAP and NIPPV systems
• Ostomy care equipment

You'll work alongside a dedicated team of 9+ RNs and one charge nurse per shift, utilizing EMR systems CPN and Meditech. Floating to the nursery as needed is part of the role.

Required certifications: BLS and NRP.

Dress code: Royal blue scrubs.

Assignment details: 91-day contract starting August 17, 2026. Weekly pay is $1,801.
