RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Inpatient Medical/Surgical night shift position
• 13-week contract
• 8 weekend shifts required per contract
• No blocked schedules permitted - requesting a blocked schedule will result in immediate rejection
• Minimum 1 year of experience required (2 years preferred)
• Patient ratios of 5:1 for days, nights, and weekends with potential for 6:1 ratios due to heavy swing bed population
• Care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
• Patient diagnoses include med/surg, swing bed, respite care, and post-surgical patients
• Post-surgical patients include orthopedic, urology, and general surgery cases
• Required skills include interpretation and management of dysrhythmias and telemetry monitoring
• Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, and pharmacy
• BLS required; ACLS preferred but not required
• Must be licensed to work in Missouri
• EMR experience preferred
• Smoke-free facility
