Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• Night shift position from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Rotating schedule of 3 and 4 days every week
• Every other weekend (EOW) requirement with 13 weekend shifts per contract
• No call requirement
• Critical Care, Emergency Department, and Pediatric experience required
• 3-5 years of hospital experience preferred
• Travel experience preferred; first-time travelers considered
• CRT required for RRT position
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CRT, NRP, RRT
• Provide full range of inpatient therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory services
• Deliver patient education services including Living with COPD and Asthma Awareness Programs
• Skills required include Adult Critical Care, BiPAP, CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), mechanical ventilation weaning, arterial blood gas interpretation and drawing, bronchoscopy, intubation assist, tracheostomy care and management, chest physiotherapy, and pediatric and neonatal respiratory care
• Charting system: Meditech
• Interdisciplinary support available through Respiratory Services and Rapid Response Teams
