Med Surg RN Job in Dothan, AL

You'll work as a Registered Nurse in Medical Surgery at Southeast Health Medical Center in Dothan, Alabama. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning November 9, 2026, with 4x12 night shifts. You'll earn $2,242 per week.

Assignment Details

• 12-hour night shifts; 3x12 or 4x12 scheduling available based on your preference
• Block scheduling supported
• Weekend coverage required
• Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
• Patient ratios up to 1:6–7
• Daily census of 35 patients across 35 beds

Clinical Skills and Responsibilities

• Proficiency with drips including cardizem, tridil, and amiodarone
• Port access and management
• Med/Surg nursing, telemetry monitoring
• Chemotherapy administration and monitoring

Facility Support

Interdisciplinary services include physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretarial support.

Qualifications

• Active Alabama or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
• First-time travelers welcome
• Permanent address must be at least 75–90 miles from the facility
