Med Surg RN Job in Dothan, AL

You'll work as a Registered Nurse on a Urology Unit at Southeast Health Medical Center in Dothan, Alabama, caring for adult and geriatric patient populations. This is a travel position running 91 days, starting November 9, 2026.

Role and Responsibilities

• Manage patient care with a ratio of 1:6 or 1:7, requiring comfort with high-acuity cases
• Administer and monitor drips including insulin, heparin, cardizem, tridil, and amiodarone
• Provide comprehensive nursing care across the Urology Unit

Schedule and Hours

• 4x12 day shifts (36 or 48 hours per week available)
• Block scheduling offered except on holidays
• Every other weekend required

Requirements

• Current, active Alabama RN license or compact license in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with strong high-acuity background
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Peritoneal dialysis experience considered a plus but not required

Practical Details

• Weekly pay: $2,162
• Orientations held every other Monday
• Dress code: all navy or navy pants with white top
