Telemetry RN Job in Saint Louis, MO

Mercy Hospital St Louis is seeking an experienced Telemetry RN for a 26-week travel assignment. You will work night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM) on a 4x12 schedule with weekly pay of $2,411.

Position Details

• Night shift orientation occurs during day hours; you must be available the entire week for onboarding
• Choose between 36 or 48 guaranteed hours per week
• Every other full weekend required (Saturday and Sunday)
• Expected to work at least one major winter holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's Day)
• Up to 5 days of requested time off per 13 weeks automatically approved
• Block scheduling accommodated when possible based on unit needs
• No call requirements

Clinical Responsibilities

• Care for patients with acute AFIB onset, CHF exacerbations, post-operative vascular, and cardiac heart and valve surgeries
• Manage all cardiac drips and operate EKG machines
• Work with standard telemetry equipment including chest tubes, drains, and cardiac devices
• Patient ratios of 4–5:1 on unit; float throughout Med Surg as needed with ratios of 5–6:1

Requirements

• Current RN license; must meet eligibility criteria for Missouri licensure or be currently licensed in Missouri
• 1+ years of telemetry experience required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• EPIC experience highly preferred
