Job Details:

• Day shift position on a Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Schedule is 3x12-hour shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Patient ratios: 5:1 on days, 6:1 on nights, and 5-6:1 on weekends
• Weekend requirement: 2 shifts every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday for day shift)
• 6 weekend shifts required per 6-week schedule
• Float required within Telemetry service line to meet facility needs
• No on-call required
• Block scheduling is not available
• 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIHSS
• Charting system: EPIC
• Scrub color: Navy
• No parking cost
• Required skills: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, isolation precautions/PPE, management of dysrhythmias, nasal cannula, non-invasive airway management, peripheral line care/management, and telemetry
• Patient population: Adults with telemetry, telemetry stroke, and cardiac medication needs
• Unit supports 46 beds across 29 rooms with a daily census of approximately 27 patients
• Interdisciplinary support includes a unit secretary
