Med Surg RN Job in Birmingham, AL

You'll work as a Registered Nurse in the Medical Surgical unit at Grandview Medical Center in Birmingham, AL. This is a 13-week travel contract assignment starting October 6, 2026.

Schedule and Pay

• 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each
• Night shift: 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Alternating weekend schedule required
• Weekly pay: $1,892.16

What You'll Need

• Current RN license
• BLS certification required
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Permanent address must be 50 or more miles from the facility

About the Role

You'll provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical setting, supporting the clinical team with nursing assessments, medication administration, patient education, and care coordination. You'll document care in the Cerner system and maintain communication with interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality outcomes.
