PCU RN Job in Wausau, WI

Aspirus Wausau Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Progressive Care Unit (PCU). You will provide direct patient care in an intermediate care setting, supporting patients through step-down recovery and transitional phases of their hospital stay.

Role Responsibilities

• Deliver bedside nursing care in the PCU/Intermediate Care (IMC) Step Down Unit
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, respond to clinical changes, and collaborate with the care team
• Float as needed to other inpatient units to support facility operations
• Float to sister facilities within the designated region when required

Qualifications

• Current RN license: Wisconsin or Compact State License
• Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience required
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required

Assignment Details

• Shift: 3x12 Rotating
• Duration: 91 days
• Start Date: September 21, 2026
• Weekly Pay: $2,386
