Opportunity:

RN - Tele

Job Details:

• 12-hour day shifts with every other weekend requirement
• 1-2 winter holidays required
• Full-time position with schedule based on staffing need to cover the entire Med/Surg division
• Primary assignment at one location with required floating throughout Region Two facilities as needed, with rate differential when floated outside of primary facility
• Required to float to all Med/Surg and Telemetry divisions within the facility
• RN patient ratio of 4-5 patients per nurse; CNA ratio of 8-11 patients
• Up to 4 on-call or standby requirements during contract duration
• Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment or 3 shifts for assignments less than 13 weeks
• Must have at least 2 years of acute care experience
• Required to titrate drips including Insulin, Heparin, Nitro, Dobutamine, Dopamine, and Cardizem per Med/Surg guidelines
• Experience working with CPAP, BiPap, and Trachs required; no ventilators
• Telemetry monitored remotely by telemetry techs; RNs verify strip readings
• Charting completed using EPIC system
• Required to take breaks when offered
• May be assigned as a CNA or entrance screener if needed
• No specific scrub color required
• BSN not required
• Required certifications: BLS
