Telemetry RN Job in Silverdale, WA

St Michael Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Telemetry position on the 7th floor Medical/Surgical unit. This is a night shift role running 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, working three 12-hour shifts per week. The assignment runs for 91 days, beginning November 2, 2026, with a weekly pay of $2,272.

Unit Details

• 32-bed Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit
• Patient ratios of 4:1 (50%) and 5:1 (50%)
• Nurse aides available with ratios of approximately 8:1 to 10:1
• Charge nurse and house supervisor on site

Your Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to Medical/Surgical overflow and non-acute stroke patients
• Titrate drips including insulin and pain medications
• Validate centralized telemetry strips
• Operate BiPAP and high-flow respiratory equipment
• Maintain professional, clean scrubs (no jeans)

Schedule and Expectations

• Self-scheduling with expectation to fill open shifts
• Every other weekend requirement
• One winter holiday and one summer holiday requirement
• Possible standby placement; no on-call requirement
• Floating to other units required
• No RTO (return time off) approved for the first week of assignment

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Medical/Surgical experience with telemetry
• Epic EMR experience required
• BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
