ED RN Job in El Paso, TX

Del Sol Medical Center El Paso is seeking a registered nurse for a 13-week contract assignment in the emergency department. You'll work a three-day-per-week schedule with 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, providing direct patient care in a 41-bed ED.

Role Details

• Patient ratios of 1:4 in core areas and 1:6 in fast track
• Shift hours: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM (staff arrival 6:45 PM, departure 7:15 AM)
• Every other weekend required; no on-call responsibilities
• Electronic medical records via Meditech

Your Team

You'll collaborate with charge nurses, trauma nurses, unit clerks, paramedics, and technicians in a fast-paced environment. Special equipment training will be provided during orientation.

Required Credentials and Certifications

• Texas or Compact RN license (current and active)
• BLS, ACLS, ENPC or PALS, and TNCC certifications required before start
• CPI certification required within 6 weeks of onboarding

Uniform and Dress Code

• Scrub color: royal blue
• Closed-toed shoes required (no crocs with holes)

Assignment Timeline

Contract duration is 13 weeks, beginning September 21, 2026. Weekly pay is $1,708.20.
