ED Registered Nurse Job in Wichita Falls, TX

United Regional in Wichita Falls, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting October 5, 2026, with a weekly pay of $2,206.

Schedule & Compensation

• 3x12 hour shifts, days
• 36/48 hour alternating schedule with 84 hours guaranteed biweekly
• Weekend coverage required
• Block scheduling type

Role Requirements

• 3 years of emergency nursing experience required
• Travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers will not be accepted
• Patient ratio of 4:1 across all shifts
• Must be comfortable caring for patients across all age groups: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

Required Certifications

• ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS

Preferred Certifications

• CPI, MAB, ENPC

Clinical Skills Required

• Arterial line management
• Blood product administration
• Care of ventilated patients
• Central line care and management
• Continuous IV sedation and paralytics
• IV vasopressors
• Interpretation of dysrhythmias and ABGs
• Management of dysrhythmias
• 12-lead EKG/ECG
• Procedural sedation administration and monitoring
• Phlebotomy
• Triage
• Splint application
• Starting and maintaining IVs

Preferred Background

• Level II Trauma Center experience
• Epic charting system experience

Support Services Available

You will have access to interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and phlebotomy.
