Emergency Room RN Job in Asheville, NC

You will provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department at Mission Hospital, a Level II trauma center in Asheville, NC. This is a 91-day travel assignment running three 12-hour shifts per week, with hours from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering emergency nursing care in a high-volume, fast-paced ED environment
• Managing a wide range of emergency cases, including trauma and acute medical presentations
• Supporting stroke patients within the hospital's comprehensive stroke center designation
• Collaborating with pediatric emergency cases in partnership with Mission Children's Hospital
• Working alongside Level III neonatal intensive care resources when needed

You will join a team that handles complex emergency presentations across all age groups and acuity levels. The facility's Level II trauma status and stroke center accreditation mean you will encounter diverse and evolving patient needs. Your ability to remain composed, prioritize efficiently, and communicate clearly with colleagues will be essential.
