About this role
You'll work as an RN on the K9A Oncology/Women's Surgical unit at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC. This is a 182-day travel assignment beginning September 7, 2026, with a day shift schedule of 3x12 hours (6:45 AM–7:15 PM).
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on the 9th floor with patient ratios of 1:4 or 1:5
- Perform occasional pelvic exams, echocardiograms, and thoracentesis procedures
- Use the Cerner EMR system for documentation and care coordination
- Operate standard unit equipment
- Float occasionally to other med-surg units as needed
Unit Staffing and Environment
- Day shift includes 1 clinical nurse coordinator (CNC), 4–6 RNs, 2 CNAs, and 1 health unit coordinator (HUC)
- Night shift includes 1 CNC, 4–6 RNs, and 2 CNAs

Schedule and Requirements
- 3x12 day shifts per week
- Required to work 6 weekend days per schedule
- Rare on-call requirements
- Active RN license and BLS certification required
- Chemo certification preferred
What We're Looking For
You have a current RN license and BLS certification. You're a team player with a willingness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced oncology environment. You maintain professional appearance per dress code (navy, white, or a combination of both colors).
Compensation
Weekly pay is $2,102.40.
