About this role

Unit Overview

The unit has 24 beds staffed by a team of 42 members. Night shift staffing includes one Charge Nurse, 4–6 RNs, and 2 CNAs. You'll care for patients with a typical ratio of 1:4 or 1:5.

Your Role

Procedures you may encounter include occasional pelvic exams, echocardiograms, and thoracentesis. The unit uses Cerner as its electronic medical record system and standard equipment throughout.
