Operating Room RN Job in Cape Girardeau, MO

Saint Francis Medical Center is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room in Cape Girardeau, MO. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting October 6, 2026, with weekly pay of $2,961.

Schedule:

• 4 shifts per week, 10 hours per shift
• Day shift with start times as early as 5:30 AM
• Rotating weekend, weekday, and holiday call required
• On-call every 4th weekend
• Peel-off scheduling system with flexible hours

Role Responsibilities:

• Float to perioperative areas including gynecology, general, and vascular
• Proficiency required in Ortho, Ortho Trauma, ENT, Neuro, Neuro Trauma, and GU cases
• Experience with robotic procedures including Mako, Rosa, and GU robotic systems
• Manage 1:1 patient ratio across all shifts
• Provide care for neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Skilled in cardiac monitoring, conscious sedation monitoring, and scrubbing for bariatric, cardiovascular, endoscopic, ENT, general, gynecology, neurology, thoracic, and vascular surgeries

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years operating room experience
• Permanent state RN license in-hand at time of submission; temporary licenses not accepted
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• PALS, RNFA, and CNOR preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
